VolSiu is built around the actual regulation governing recreational and professional flight in the open category: drone CE marking classes (C0-C4, Legacy, privately built), A1/A2/A3 operational subcategories with their distance restrictions, and the pilot licence pyramid (A1/A3 → A2 → STS-01/STS-02 → operational authorisation). Each flight automatically generates its pre- and post-flight checklist according to the chosen subcategory.
Everything you need in one place
- Fleet management: drones, CE class, weight/MTOM, serial number and third-party liability insurance per aircraft, with expiry alerts.
- Licences and certificates: cumulative per pilot, with identification number and expiry date.
- Flight log: map location, operating radius, checklists, incidents and real-time flight status.
- Flight log import: upload the file from your manufacturer's app (e.g. DJI) and VolSiu automatically extracts a summary (aircraft, duration, distance, height and maximum speeds) and, on request, the full GPS trajectory on the map.
- Ministry of the Interior notification: helps identify when a flight in an urban area requires prior notification (Art. 40 RD 517/2024) and stores the reference once filed.
- Law-enforcement-directed flight record: a dedicated form for emergency situations, exportable as a PDF supporting document.
- Fleet repairs: maintenance history per drone, with cost and status.
